Summary
I've spent more than 25 years as an International IT Executive. Today I lead AI strategy, governance, and adoption, and design and ship AI systems. In daily use right now: multi-agent pipelines that scope, build, audit, and release software, with independent audit agents gating every release; generative AI document pipelines; and RAG agent chatbots across multiple LLM providers and vector stores.
I also teach Artificial Intelligence and Data Storytelling at the University of Padova, where I authored both syllabi. I advise C-level executives on IT, Data Center, cloud, and AI investments through GLG and as a Member of the Board of Advisors at Advisory Council Team exGV. I have mentored and coached senior leaders and executives throughout my career.
That combination of building, teaching, and advising rests on a long track record in enterprise IT. I ran enterprise IT across Latin America, the USA, and Europe, including 24x7 Data Centers in Latin America. At AWS, I ran multiple Data Centers at 100% uptime, with up to 24 direct and hundreds of indirect reports. At Pfizer, I ran every Latin America Data Center and IT for 4,000+ users across 65 sites in 8 countries, with 20 direct and 40+ indirect reports, and was responsible for Latin America on Project CONNECT, a US$35M global collaboration technology program.
For 19 years before that, I ran ROM Networks, my own consulting and advisory firm, providing CIO/CTO-as-a-Service to enterprise clients including Microsoft, IBM, JP Morgan, Motorola, and Siemens. Its digital transformation initiatives cut IT costs 62% and increased revenue.
The toolkit behind all of it: cloud strategy on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud; IT governance, ITIL, and Agile delivery; CAPEX/OPEX planning and cost optimization; and Python, machine learning, and data visualization applied to business decisions.
Dual citizen of Brazil and Italy, with cross-industry experience spanning big tech, pharmaceuticals, consulting, finance, and education, across multinational corporations in Latin America, the USA, and Europe.
